September 28 – October 1, 2026 · 1 min walk from the Palais des Festivals · for teams of 4 to 10 people
TFWA World Exhibition brings travel retail brands and buyers to Cannes: fragrance, spirits, watches, confectionery — everything sold in an airport or on board. Four days at the end of September, from 28 September to 1 October in 2026, and close to seven thousand attendees.
Its distinctive feature is the date. TFWA falls on the hinge of the season: Cannes has not yet emptied its hotels of September holidaymakers when the exhibitors arrive. Unlike the winter shows, accommodation is contested on two fronts here, and rates have not begun their autumn decline.
The other distinctive feature is the product. A brand presenting a travel range with samples, display material and gift sets needs somewhere to store and prepare it — which a hotel room does not offer, and which a hundred-square-metre apartment settles without a thought.

In reasonable volumes, yes: it is one of the most common TFWA uses we see. A hundred-square-metre apartment easily absorbs what a hotel room cannot. The property remains a home, however, not a warehouse or a showroom: pallet deliveries and receiving the public are excluded. Tell us what you plan to bring when you enquire and we will tell you whether the property suits it.
It is the hinge, and that is what makes TFWA awkward. September holidaymakers have not all left when the exhibitors arrive, so accommodation is contested on two fronts. In practice it is better to treat TFWA as a high-season show than an autumn one: demand comes earlier and supply frees up later.
This selection is ordered by distance: from a five-minute walk for the Banane district to twelve for the streets behind the Croisette. On a show where you go back and forth between the stand and your accommodation several times a day, often carrying something, that is the criterion that matters most — more than the view or the decor.
From four to eight depending on the property, at one bedroom per two people. The capacity shown on each listing is a contractual maximum: it cannot be exceeded, even for one night and even if the team grows at the last minute. Above eight we split across two properties, in the same district where possible.
It is agreed case by case. Our properties belong to different owners whose terms are not identical: some accept a short stay during a show week, others rent by the week. As TFWA runs four days, a Sunday-to-Friday stay covers set-up and take-down — give us your actual dates and we will reply within 24 hours with what is available for that length.
We first confirm the property’s actual availability for your dates, then issue the contract. A non-refundable deposit of 30 per cent is due within seven days; the balance sixty days before arrival. Payment is by bank transfer in euros; cash is not accepted. On a booking made less than sixty days out, the full amount is settled at once.
Tell us as early as you can: a shift announced early can often be handled by changing property, while one announced late falls under the cancellation scale. Beyond sixty days before arrival the deposit is lost; between thirty and sixty days half the amount remains due; under thirty days, all of it.
Transfers from Nice, a driver, mid-stay housekeeping, a private chef, restaurant bookings. Allow fourteen days, more during a show week. In late September Cannes restaurants are still running at full tilt: tables book up as they do in summer. Full details are on our concierge page.
TFWA is the only show in our calendar to fall before the end of the tourist season: supply in Cannes is contested by two audiences at once. Of the 8 properties in this selection, most are under a five-minute walk from the Palais, and those are the first to be asked for.
